Pride in Southwark 2025 event – 28/06/25 Mint Street Park
Southwark Pensioners Centre and Southwark Pensioners’ Action Group were grateful to be given a community stall at the Pride in Southwark 2025. It gave a chance for SPC, not only to promote the charity, but also to show our support for the event and its ethos of equality, diversity and inclusion. There were bicycle rallies, health awareness stalls and musical stage acts. We were asked to say a few words on stage about our charity and several people came to the stall to enquire about our work. Our attendance aligns with our broader objectives at SPC of reaching out to under-resourced and under-represented communities in Southwark. Please look out for our future posts about events which will involve the LGBTQIA+, Latin-American communities and BAME elders.
