On behalf of Southwark Pensioners’ Centre and SPAG, Councillor Charlie Smith, Chair, SPC and Steve Lancashire, SPAG, welcomed Florence Eshalomi to the Centre. She is MP for Vauxhall and Camberwell Green to the Centre and recently, Minister of State in the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.
Florence has been a Member of Parliament since 2019. She kindly supported the Home Care Forum and heard at first hand about the kinds of issues older people are experiencing and what kind of home care service they would prefer from the council in future.
